WHAT LED ME TO THE IMAGINABLE
Another approach that is commonly taught focuses primarily on pathophysiologic processes: inflammation, infection, and ischemia to guide thinking about the imaginable list of diagnoses. As with use of only anatomic approach, use of only the physiologic approach can lead to omissions of potentially important and more likely diagnoses.
1st STEP IN THE ART OF MD
The first step in the art of medical diagnosis is learning to generate a differential diagnosis. This is simply assembling a list of all the possible causes that may explain your patient's symptoms and signs. A method commonly taught early in medical training is the use of a strict anatomic approach, which can be effective for certain types of diseases.
VINDICATEd
Therefore, although there are different approaches one can use, a very helpful mnemonic that systematically includes most of the major categories is VINDICATE!!! To remember this mnemonic, keep in mind that after we've generated a differential diagnosis and used the techniques of refining probability, we will feel VINDICATEd!!! by obtaining the most likely diagnosis! This mnemonic combines anatomic, pathophysiologic, and systems approaches and can be applied successfully.

A 63 year old man with a history of hypertension presents to the local emergency department complaining of progressing headaches and neck pain!!! PROOFING
Here again, the problem of induction plays a key role in arguments. What am i missing? What can i do to reassure U this isn't exactly a sure science for me . . . i'm trying to be perfect for everyone!!! How does someone do that? U know how am i supposed to have answers to everything? Things that no one else does? Ultimately i'm expecting U to make me wait and sweat it out down to the wire, i know it's b/C i have the greatest burden of truth it is all or nothing and FATHER U ARE THE ONE MAKING THE DECISION!!! IS MY SOUL NOT TRUE, MY HEART NOT PURE, AND MY INTELLECT NOT SOUND!!! The material will be learned, but I don't think that's the issue i think U see something that i'm missing and i don't want to disappoint anyone i'm worried that's all i'm not sure what U are looking for? Or what U C that is concerning . . . i'm not perfect and i don't think i'll ever be ready * But that's not what's driving me it's love and understanding of myself, my family, and everyone else . . .i'm lost what else do U wish me to endure?
