POLITICAL BIASES AMONG SOCIAL PSYCHOLOGISTS

Social psychologists have become engrossed by debates about political biases in their own ranks, according to John Tierney’s column in today’s New York Times. At last month’s meeting of the Society for Personality and Social Psychology, the University of Virginia’s Jonathan Haidt asked a ballroom full of roughly 1,000 scholars to raise their hands to identify themselves politically. TheCronicle
