Medicine has long been regarded as much art as science, but a "contemporary ballet" company in Pittsburgh is taking the concept where it may never have gone before.
Called Bodiography and led by 30-year-old choreographer Maria Caruso, the troupe last year staged Heart: Function versus Emotion, a production about heart transplantation that featured real-life organ recipients and transplant surgeon Robert Kormos of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC).
