In a way its sort of freeing letting go of all the material things in life and embracing only what is needed.
There's a sense of God in it, for you discover what is truly important and go towards it with all of your strength and might.
You are a witness to the immense cold and warmth the world is capable of.
There are no fake friends, or TV commercials, there's no relationship issues to speak of, or Internet to surf, there are no bills to worry about; only real.
Life happens on the other end of the spectrum and your an observer to it.
All distractions disappear along with the endless servitude to the great machine of life.
You become aware of living and what it truly means to feel alive.
I wouldn't wish it upon a single soul, but those of us lucky enough to have gone through it and succeed possess a great gift that very few are capable of attaining.
We look at these individuals and we feel sorry for them, we think to ourselves how crazy it would be to go through life this way.
And yet we're the ones who search for answers that will never be found and want endlessly without satisfaction.
Maybe these helpless cases have merely claimed to be content. They saw the rules in which to win or loose and opted not to play at all.
Maybe they look at all of us as the helpless cases and it's them who feel sorry.
