(ii)

From the simplest utterance to the complex period do the lines along which syntax grows. Why does the Accusative-and-Infinitive construction use an accusative and an infinitive? What is a Relative-how does it start? How does the Imperfect Subjunctive come to refer to present time? Or again, we are used to the dogma that the Greek Genitive represents both Genitive and Ablative: why should it? how are the two compatible? For these random and many similar problems the historical approach suggests the solution! (LEGENDARY HERITAGE)
