Pulse — the iPhone, iPad and Android social news consumption app from startup Alphonso Labs — is proving Wednesday that it’s far more than a stylized RSS reader with the addition of six new content sources.
Pulse now features six popular social media sites as sources: Reddit, Digg, Vimeo, YouTube, Picplz and Flickr. The application is pulling content from these social sites via APIs instead of RSS feeds, a big first for the company. MASHABLE
